Tangled Ribbons
My name is Jennie Batchelor and I run a small craft and illustration shop on Folksy :)
I'm 20 years old and currently working my way through a degree in Humanities (specialising in creative writing and art history). After I stopped studying art full time I found that I just couldn't stop making and drawing, so I decided that I may as well try and make a little extra money out of it :D
Next summer I have a trip planned to Uganda, where I and two friends will be helping out in a orphanage for a month. So from now until then all of the proceeds of this little business will go towards funding that trip- any left over will be donated straight to the charity itself :)

Had one of those days where you seem to do a thousand little jobs and yet achieve nothing so I decided to make a notebook or two to make up for it. Now it’s back to drinking too much coffee and running around like a mad woman trying to get everything done in time :)
Cassette tape inspired patterned notebooks!
Trying out some circle designs and I really like them! The pied flycatcher seems to have worked best - I added a little water to the ink to wash the colour out slightly, but I also really like the yellow and blue owl.
Found time in my super stressful day to make an anchor illustration (helped along by my third cup of coffee :D)
